Update

I went to Weigh in on Wednesday and I had gained 1lb which I was happy with due to the fact that I'd not been focussed at all.

I did however feel very focussed leaving group on Wednesday and was looking forward to the 2 weeks ahead.  I'm not going to weigh in this week due to being in work...however that gives me 1.5 weeks to lose the 1lb and more and hopefully get back on the losing wagon.

I knew I had a busy weekend planned starting with a Surprise Baby Shower on Friday including a Chinese and then and Engagement Party which would no doubt include buffet food and VODKA!!!

I managed to be good with my food through the day so as not to do too much damage but I planned to enjoy my weekend and then make a fresh start on Monday...which is still my plan! I'm looking forward to a full day on plan tomorrow with no interruptions!

I've managed 2 days of dancing to my exercise playlist on my iPod...well...1 and then some of the routines at the party last night...and obviously that counts right (haha).

Anyway...I'm back....whoooooooop!

Exercise

I really need to do some exercise....

I'm not a huge fan of it...but needs must and all that!

My friend Leanne and me are going to start going to Zumba again on a Wednesday evening, which I am kind of looking forward to.  We enjoyed it when we went before...so hopefully we'll be able to get back into it.

I've updated my iPod with some great tunes to dance about to, so I'm going to attempt to do this a couple of times per week (maybe even every night)...when I say songs to dance about to, I mean ones with routines...such as...

All seriously cheesey but good for a boogie around the bedroom/living room and sadly YES I know the routines to them all.  90's girl through and through!

When I lived with my friends in Yorkshire, we used to have a play list a bit like this and we used to dance to it every night, working up a sweat...we were shattered the first few nights but then we started to get used to it.

I love having a dance on a night out so why not have a dance every night around the house to some of my favourite tunes.

Dress Size

I don't know about other people, but when I'm trying to lose weight I find the change of dress size a real inspiration.

However I have a lot of trouble with this...I must be a peculiar shape as I can lose upto 2 stone and still be wearing the same clothes size as I was when I started.  Yes the items of clothing may be loose or even big, but the next size isn't anywhere near to fitting.

I find this really frustrating and a real dis-heartener.

I know this is why we should take measurements of various areas of our bodies to see if the weight has shifted from places that don't always affect clothing.

So tonight, I've taken my measurements and I will take them again on the first Sunday of April and then   on the first Sunday of each month after that!  I've also taken a few photographs, a front, back and side view of my body which I will also repeat when I'm monitoring my measurements.

I hope this works.

Back To It

I've not been to group since...February 6th due to being unwell and being at work and being unable to attend.

I decided on Wednesday that I would re-join, even though I knew I wouldn't stick to plan instantly as I had a busy weekend ahead but I wanted to re-join to see what damage was done and to see if I could try and limit it a little.

When I got to group on Wednesday, my consultant Sarah was very welcoming and understanding about my issues...I paid to re-join as it was cheaper than paying for the missed weeks.

On getting weighed I discovered that I had maintained my weight from the 6th February which I was really pleased with as I haven't followed the plan in the slightest since before I went to London at the end of January.

After my hectic alcohol filled weekend, I'm looking forward to getting back on plan tomorrow....

I'm having a couple of red days...I've got peppered mackerel salad for lunch and I'm having steak & kidney with veg for my tea.  Not sure what I'm using my healthy extra's on yet...but I'll find something.
