Struggling

I have been struggling these last 2 weeks....just wanting to eat anything and everything....mainly biscuits.  I just love plain chocolate digestives <3 <3


At weigh in on Monday I had gained 1/2lb which over all isn't too bad in 2 weeks....I need to get back on track though.

Day two on it this week and things are going ok so far....it's my day off tomorrow and I'm off to a craft event with my mum at the Trafford Centre, then I'm off out for tea tomorrow night...busy day off...but then sadly it's a full weekend in work ahead for me so...no excuses to be bad.

I had a good bank holiday weekend...firstly it was my friends 30th Birthday, she had a party on Friday night...enjoyed a few vodkas and a dance with the girls


The rest of the weekend was spent SHOPPING...I bought some new bedding from Next. 


My favourite purchase of the weekemd was an iPad <3 I love it...! If I won the lottery...I would quite happily spend a fortune in the Apple shop...I want everything!


I found a gorgeous black dress in Evans....I didn't buy it though...I will buy it after pay day!

I'm hoping for a good week now...feeling on track and focussed. Fingers crossed everyone.

Week 2

I re-joined Slimming World 2 weeks ago and I am feeling very much on track and motivated.  I feel like I have been enjoying what I'm eating.

At my first weigh in I lost 4.5lb...I was very pleased with this.

This week I have lost 1.5lb...it could've been more...but I ate out at the weekend...!

I enjoy eating out and refuse to stay in just because I am trying to lose weight.

I have lost 6lb in 2 weeks so far...I was a little gutted tonight that I had not lost enough to get me my 1/2 stone award...however, I will be aiming for that next week.

I really enjoyed staying at group tonight, it is a while since I have stayed...I feel much more motivated when I've stayed.  I'll be back to my normal night time group next week as I'm working...but it will be nice to see everyone there and see how they're all getting on.

I'm working most of this next week so I'm hoping that that will keep me on track and stop me from straying. 

This week I have been loving pitta bread pizza's I seem to be making them all the time...I have also introduced them to all of my friends.  I love having them as a snack or as a meal with slimming world chips.  My other favourite meal is bacon, scrambled egg & beans...easy & quick to make & filling.

My post weigh in treat was a couple chocolate cupcakes which my mum made....they were yummy...I don't know how I'm going to refrain from eating another tomorrow.


This next week I am going to try and take more photographs of my meals and do a blog containing them all, knowing me I will probably forget.

New Start

It's been a while since my last blog...I've been extremely busy working and getting ready for my holibobs.

In my last blog I was aiming to reach my lowest weight before I jetted off to Greece, however sadly that did not happen.

On 9th July I went out with the girlies for Lyn's 30th and Becca's 21st, we had a lovely night...everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.

The week leading up to holiday...I seemed to fall off the wagon...quite rapidly...I had a sneak weigh in at home before I went away and appeared to have gained a few pound...I wasn't too worried about this as I knew I would get it off again once I returned.

On Friday before I went away I was offered a new job...since returning I'm not sure whether this job is still happening but I will just keep plodding on and hope for the best.

Holiday was fabulous...we arrived in Kos, in a quiet area called Psalidi...it was lovely...we were supposed to be staying in a 4* all inclusive, however it had been over booked and we had been upgraded to 5*...there were no complaints there from any of us.


The weather was gorgeous...7 days of sunbathing...a nice relaxing week.

The food at the hotel was nice...as were the endless supply of cocktails...some of the favourites being Strawberry Daqari's and Banana Daqari's *this last one was my least favourite* We loved a fish bowl or 2 containing Sex On The Beach <3


I went to weigh in on Monday and decided that I was going to start a fresh and re-join as a new member...I knew that I couldn't stand the thought of the huge gain that had occurred appearing in my book so...it was time to wipe the slate clean and go for it.

The grand total of my 2.5 weeks off plan and a week of none stop eating and drinking gain was 10.5lb...however...because I'm starting again...I don't feel down about losing the same weight again.

It has been my first day back on plan today and I'm feeling focussed and very motivated.
